Rice exports up nearly 50% in January-February

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has reported that Vietnam’s rice exports hit 708 million USD in the first two months of 2024, an increase of nearly 50% compared to the same period last year. The figures promise a positive outlook for rice exports during 2024 as a whole, especially those to major markets.

Fruit & veggie exports in first seven months surpass all of 2022

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam earned over 3.25 billion USD from exporting fruit and vegetables in the first seven months of the year, representing a year-on-year increase of a significant 68.8%.

Agro-forestry-aquatic products post one-billion-USD export value

During the first seven months of 2019, eight groups of agro-forestry-aquatic products posted export turnover of over one billion USD, making up 75% of total export turnover of the sector.
